The 2021 Scifest competition took place online this year due to restrictions but that didn’t stop our John the Baptist students from entering the competition. From a range of topics from space to farming the JTBCS scientists showed that science can be accomplished no matter the other uncertainties in life.
All students received a participation certificate for their hard work.
A special congratulations to students, Peggy Donovan and Katelyn Moloney who won an ESERO Discover Space Award at theSciFest@College 2021 regional STEM fair. With almost 600 project entries, this is a great achievement. Their project researched the supernovas, which to non-scientific ears, means the explosion of stars in space. The hard work and dedication of the girls paid off.
Congratulations and well done to everyone involved.
