Dr. Aidan Cowley, Science Advisor & Spaceship European Astronaut Centre Coordinator, with European Space Agency spoke to TYs, First Years and Second Years on Monday 4th of October for Space Week. Dr. Crowley wowed the 400 plus students who attended this online “space-cial” event, looking at his role, the jobs associated with the field and many other fascinating insights into his work.

Much fun and learning was also had in the vibrant question and answer session, with student quizzing Dr. Crowley on all aspects of living in space, the space programme, even how to apply toothpaste in zero gravity. Teachers too got in on the event, probing on the most accurate films in the science fiction genre.
