Congratulations to the Junior Girls Football team who stormed to victory over Loreto Navan in a thrilling encounter on Saturday 14th of March to book their place in this year's All Ireland Final. The girls put in an excellent performance and showed nerves of steel to win 3:13 to 3:06. With a substantial lead at half time, the John the Baptist C.S. team seemed destined for a great win. However, Loreto emerged with fire and determination to come back from nine points down to level the match. The final minutes were fraught and nail-biting, with John the Baptist C.S. coming agonisingly close on several occasions to more goals.

      

Their class and never-say-die attitude shone through in the final moments, once again pulling ahead by seven points, with stunning performances across the pitch. Well done to all the girls, and especially to their coaches Ms. Michelle Buckely and Mr. Seamus Dollery. A special thank you to all who helped out in anyway. The All Ireland is set for the 28th of March – best of luck to all involved!
