All Ireland Scholarships

Siobhan Condon, a past student of John the Baptist Community School has been awarded an All Ireland Scholarship, worth in excess of €40,000 over the course of her studies. Established in 2008 by Limerick business man J.P. McManus with a donation of €30million, it supports students who wish to continue on to further education across the thirty two counties of Ireland.  This year 125 students were awarded the scholarship. The scholarship was awarded in a glittering ceremony by former U.S. President Bill Clinton. This is the second time that the school has had a winner of an All Ireland Scholarship, with Marie McManus winning in 2010.
