Well done to our amazing athletes who did themselves, their families and the school proud at the recent North Munster Track and Field meet. Geoffrey Joy O’Regan won impressively at both High Jump (Junior) and Long Jump (Minor). Sean McCarthy put in excellent performances to earn the first place at the Senior 200m and the silver medal in the Senior 100m. Rory Prenderville came first in both the Intermediate 800m and 400m races, while Patrick Holihan took an impressive third place at the 1500m. Congratulations to all those who took part and to their coach Mr. O’Connell. All have qualified for the Munster School Track and Field competition this coming Saturday.
