Gael Linn Debating Success!

Well done to our amazing Irisg deaters who stormed into the next rounds of the Gael Linn debates. Accompanied by their dedicated mentors Ms. Fahy and Ms. Cummins, the teams faced off in Scoil Pól in Kilfinane. Our junior debating team was opposing the motion that we should get rid of the school uniform. The junior team was made up of Aoibheann McWeeney, Imogen Moore Mellotte and Brendan Quish. They were mentored by Ms Fahy.

The senior debating team was proposing the motion that Britain should get rid of the Royal Family. The senior team was made up of Serena Power, Ella O’ Toole, Karen Harty and Ella Frazer. They were mentored by Ms. Cummins. Both teams performed brilliantly and got through to the next round of the competition. Well done to all!
