Iveagh Scholar Internship

We wish Éadaoin Power Gallagher the very best of luck on her internship in Iveagh House 4th – 7th April as part of the Iveagh Scholar Programme under the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Iveagh Scholars programme is a way for secondary students to share their views on Ireland’s role in the world, and to get involved in the discussion about how the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade promotes abroad the values, interests and economic well-being of Ireland and its people. It is aimed at Transition Year students in Ireland and Year 12 students in Northern Ireland.

This is a wonderful experience and we are sure that Éadaoin will be perfect diplomat, rubbing shoulders with powerful figures in Irish politics and international trade. Well done to Éadaoin for gaining access to this experience and to her teacher Ms. M. B. Kennedy for all her support and efforts.
