On Thursday 05/05/2022 The Junk Kouture Dublin City Final 2022 took place in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Jean Donovan, Laura Boyle and Lauren Power (TY) represented JTBCS with their creation ‘Print outside the box’ .
The competition saw 60 finalists from post-primary schools across Ireland battle it out for their place in the Junk Kouture World Final 2022 as they modelled haute-couture designs made entirely from recycled materials for our Junk Kouture judges.
The top 9 designs from the Dublin City Final, Powered by RTE were selected by the Junk Kouture judging panel on the night for the World Final where they will compete with 50 other designs from Abu Dhabi, London, Paris, Milan and New York City.
The Dublin city final will air on RTE2 and RTE player on 19TH May @7pm One wildcard (entry) will be selected by public vote on the night so we need the school to get behind the girls and vote for ‘Print outside the box’. This is for the opportunity to compete in the world finals in Abu Dhabi!
