On Thursday 6th May LCA 1 students travelled to the beautiful island of Inis Óirr. Students gathered information about the island, visited the sights and took in the beautiful scenery of the island. In glorious sunshine they visited The Plassey shipwreck, St. Kevin’s church and did a spot of paddling in the sea. Irish students practiced their Gaeilge in the local shop for their upcoming oral Irish exam and collected information for a key assignment on Gaeltacht areas. A great day was had by all.
