Leaving Certificate Results 2022- UPDATED

Following advice from the State Examinations Commission, the Leaving Certificate and LCA2 results for last year’s 6th Year and LCA2 students will only be available ONLINE on Friday the 2nd of September 2022 from 10:00am through the student portal. The results will not be available in school. 

We apologise for any confusion or inconvenience caused.

Our Guidance Department will also be available by phone to answer any questions/concerns you may have.

Timeline of events 2022
  • 2nd September Current year Leaving Certificate results issued
  • 8th September (14:00)   Round 1 offers available from 14:00 online – also issued by e-mail and SMS text.
  • Applicants who have not received an offer will receive a `Statement of Application` e-mail.
  • 9th September (12:00)   Available Place facility opens
  • 14th September (15:00) Round 1 acceptances closing date.
  • 19th September (10:00) Round 2 offers available online.
  • 21st September (15:00) Round 2 acceptances closing date.
  • 27th September (10:00) Round 3 offers available online – applicants will also receive an offer notification by e-mail and SMS text.
  • 29th September (15:00) Round 3 acceptances closing date.
  • 4th October (10:00)         Round 4 offers available online – applicants will also receive an offer notification by e-mail and SMS text.
  • 6th October (15:00)         Round 4 acceptances closing date.
  • 11th October (10:00)      Round 5 offers available online – applicants will also receive an offer notification by e-mail and SMS text.
  • 13th October (15:00)      Round 5 acceptances closing date.
  • TBC        HEIs begin registration
  • TBC        Results of Leaving Certificate appeals released
  • 13th October     Offer Season Ends.
  • 5th November 2022        CAO application facility opens for 2023 applications

NPNPCPP Helpline:

NPCPP Leaving Cert. Helpline 2022 event will run from September 2nd to September 14th from 2pm to 8pm daily.  The aim of this NPCPP Helpline is to provide accurate and factual information, and advice including counselling support to all callers to the Free Phone 1800 265165 phoneline. Irish Guidance Counsellors are the professionals employed to man these phones throughout the duration of the Helpline. Their knowledge and the updated information supplied by the Department of Education, ensures all callers will receive relevant advice and support.
