Let it grow!

Some TY students engaged in  a gardening project with Ms. Sweeney & planted a daffodil maze during October which we look forward to seeing in full bloom in the Springtime.

They also recycled old tractor tyres and painted them before setting into an embankment at the back of the school. This will provide a new lease of life to an otherwise overgrown patch of grass. The weather got the better of the group & planting had to be postponed until after Christmas,  by which time a second feature currently under manufacture in the Woodwork dept with Mr. English should be ready. We can’t wait to plant our flowers into these for a colourful display & to promote sustainability with a herb garden incorporated for use by Home Economics students.
