Our wonderful Student Council this year organised a highly successful Lip Sync battle concert. Acts across the school, students and teachers, wowed the entire student body with a wide selection of acts and songs! Well done to all the brave souls who took part, raising an impressive 1500 euro for charity.
In the light of the Covid 19 crisis, the Student Council decided to distributed the funds collectedto the local causes that need support at this difficult time. The following five groups all received funds of €300:
- Circle of Trust, Tipperary Town
- AsIam
- Samaritans, Limerick
- Barnados, Limerick
- Eve our local warrior princess
Well done to our wonderful Student Council for their continued hard work and thoughtfulness at this time.
Remember that they are still collecting PPE for local nursing homes. Please give in any PPE you can spare to local shops.
