On Friday 23rd Feb John the Baptist Community School won the Silver medal for the team event in the Munster School Athletics Championship held in Waterford Institute of Technology. Aoibhin Murphy (Elm) won the individual silver in the 1500mts. Well done to all the team – Aoibhinn Murphy (Elm), Caoimhe McNamara (Hazel), Aisling Farrell (Yew), Aine Quinlan (Hazel), Lisa English (Hazel) and to their mentor Mr. O’Connell. They all qualify for the All Ireland Competition next month.
