Science Week hit John the Baptist C.S. with a bang with lots of actvities across the school to mark this annual event. Senior students attended a talk in U.L. on the "Cosmic Journey to Mars by Robert Hill, who works with the European Space Agency ". In the talk, the students experienced a 3D journey through space and it focused on the Physics and Chemistry that exists in outer space.

There was also a display of science reference books in the library and the week culminated in an amazing science show put on by Mr. K. Buckley and Ms. M. Buckley.

First Year classes were treated to an array of spectacular effects, including the setting alight of teachers! No student or teachers were harmed in the process and a great week of science related fun was had by all!
