It is that time of year again when the halls of JTBCS are alive with the sounds of music, as the Transition Year students stage their annual musical! This year the daring students are staging the critically acclaimed “Sister Act”, following the story of Delores who goes into witness protection in a convent after she sees her mobster boyfriend involved in shady actions. This highly lively show has an impressive production team of Ms. McNulty, Ms. Nevin, with choreography by Ms. McInerney and Ms. Daly, costumes by Ms. O’Toole, stage management Mr. McCaffrey and stage construction by Mr. English and team and features a cast of 60 students giving their all to every scene and production number. The school is proud that its very own orchestra is providing all the music, under the guidance of Ms. McNulty. The show runs on the 28th (8:00pm) and 29th of February (8:30pm), tickets 10 euro, 8 euro concession – available from the school or at the door.
