On Tuesday the 14th April, Dr. Trevor Carey from the Chemistry Department in UCC held a forensic science workshop; "Spectroscopy in a Suitcase".

 

Dr. Carey brought several expensive instruments to the school including an IR Spectrometer and UV-Vis Spectrometer where the students were able to analyse different forensic samples and solve a crime!
