Dear Parents/Guardian,
Following consultation with staff, students and parents over recent months were are delighted to announce that we will be moving forward with the introduction of student devices for 5th Year students in September 2026. There was a very positive response from all corners of our community, who feel the introduction of a device would support student learning. We have decided to introduce devices for 5th Years, as it will support their project work, classwork and home learning over the two years of Senior Cycle.

Next Steps for Parents
- We have partnered with Olive Education, the company you will liaise with to purchase the devices. They will also provide ongoing tech support for parents & students, management of licensing and training for students and staff.

- Enter our schools Unique Code – 91502N
- Select your Preferred Payment Method
- Device will be delivered to the School in Late August 2026
- Students will receive training on the day they receive their Device Bundle.
- There will be ongoing support for the 2 years of Senior Cycle, the student device will be cleared for the student when leaving JTBCS and can be utilised with continued warranty for a further 3 years.
