Bailey O’ Rourke Lane (TY) and Louise McGrath (6th year) are both through to the Final stage of the Apprentice Chef competition.  This follows a highly successful semi-final stage where they were both praised by the judges for the high standard of their dishes. Mark Doe, co-founder of the competition, commented the dishes would beat the standard of his 3rd level Culinary Arts students’  and fellow judge TJ O’ Connor was blown away by the standard shown during the semi-final cook off and simply had “Wow, wow wow – with more wow” to say when giving his feedback. High praise indeed!

Both students now progress on to the Final Cook Off in Tralee Institute of Technology in May.
