On the 4th of October, TY students from John the Baptist Commmunity School joined thousands of others in Knock. It was organised to mark the “Year of Faith”. It was also an opportunity for “The Gathering” for Transition year students from the 26 different dioceses. The day started at 12 midday, with personal testimonies given by young people.

There were opportunities to attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation, The Anointing of the Sick and The Eucharist. The Papal Nuncio Monsignor Charles Browne was the main celebrant of the ceremony. TY students who attended truly enjoyed the event and the opportunity to meet with other TY students from around the country.
