A huge congratulations to our impressive senior ladies who took the Munster C Camogie title on the 20th of January. Set against the blistering cold and wild weather of the previous week, the tie against St. Anne’s was moved on the day from Ballina to the all weather pitches of the Pavillion, in U.L. From the beginning, the tie was tight and blistering, keeping the assembled vocal crowd on the edge of their seats and fired up. Points were swapped on both sides, culminating in an early lead for the John the Baptist girls, spurred on by their mentors Ms. Clifford and Mr. Ryan.
