Congratulations to TY students Niamh Larkin, Ann Marie Flynn and Eimear Doody on making the national final of “Junk Kouture” with their creation “Re-silience”. Along with their teachers, Caoimh Ryan and Suzanne Mortell, they wowed the packed Univerity of Limerick Concert Hall last Friday night.

The final piece of over 80 remarkable recycled fashion creations, “Re-silience” crafted from old balloons, was stunningly modelled by Eimear, who gave a stirring performance reflecting the theme of mental health at the core of the outfit.

The creation was the first of the twenty finalists to be announced. Congratulations and best of luck in the national final to be held in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre Dublin on May 2nd.
