Green Flag

John the Baptist C.S. was delighted this year to be awarded a Green Flag for the first time. Spearheaded by Ms. A. Haran and a dedicated Green Schools Commitee, the flag was hoisted for the first time by former Munster and Ireland Rugby player John Hayes. Well done to all involved.

Recycling within the school

All students are encouraged to recycle in the school. Bins are provised throughout the school, with detailed signage to help students and teachers be green in disposing of their rubbish.

Wildlife Area

John the Baptist’s dedication to the environment can clearly be seen in the natural wildlife area at the bottom exit to the carpark.
