In Memoriam

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we come together today to remember and honour the life of a cherished member of our school family, LCA1 student Niamh McNally. It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of her passing after a brief illness.
Niamh was an exceptional individual whose positive outlook on life was truly inspiring. Even in the face of adversity, she approached each day with a resilience that touched everyone around her. Her courage and strength during her illness were nothing short of remarkable, demonstrating a spirit that left an indelible mark on our hearts.
One of the many qualities that endeared Niamh to us all was her infectious lust for life. She embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and a vibrant energy that radiated joy. Her laughter and giggles were a source of light, and her presence had a way of uplifting those fortunate enough to know her. Niamh always maintained a sense of humour that brought comfort to those around her.
As a valued member of our school community, Niamh contributed immeasurably to the vibrant tapestry of our daily lives. Whether it was her genuine kindness, her quick wit or the friendships she nurtured, she left an indelible legacy within our school.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Niamh’s family, especially her mother Carolyn, and Niamh’s many friends. No words can adequately express the sorrow we feel.
Our school community is rallying together to provide support for one another; support is being provided to help both students and staff as we navigate through this challenging period. The outpouring of support from our extended community has been overwhelming, and we are grateful for the offers of assistance during this trying time. A book of condolence has been opened in our oratory.
Let us honour Niamh’s memory by cherishing the time we spent with her, celebrating the joy she brought into our lives, and supporting one another as we come to terms with the loss of a remarkable individual. May she Rest in Peace.#
