Seinn On!

This Thursday sees the school taking part in a very exciting event. “Seinn Cashel and Emly” is a project promoting and encouraging liturgical music in secondary schools and on Thursday April 27th six hundred students from 10 schools will raise their voices and their hands in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 7.30p.m.

This will be the first time ever that such an event is being staged in the archdiocese, and it builds upon the success of similar ventures, including Emmanuel in Dublin and Seinn in Killaloe and Limerick diocese.

Fifty three Fifth Year students will be taking part from John the Baptist C.S. We wish them luck and many thanks to all those who have prepared them for the event, especially Ms. G. McNulty, Ms. R. Hurley, Mr. G. Carey and all the Religion department. It is sure to a highly memorable event for all involved!
