FÉILTE, the Festival of Education in Learning and Teaching Excellence, is a celebration of teaching which showcases the work of teachers who are leading innovative learning projects. Now in its fourth year, the day provides a platform for teachers to share their stories of innovation with each other and the public. In 2015, John the Baptist CS was one of just a handful of schools that were chosen to exhibit at Féilte, showcasing the Murder Mystery week. This innovative approach to teaching, learning and higher order teaching skills proved a huge hit with those attending, with even Minister Jan O’Sullivan coming to view the crime scene.
A representative from the school has attended every year that Feilte has run.
